Ultimatum game: more instructions needed for 1: Sketchpad #5

I feel like we need some more instructions for 1: Sketchpad item for presenting Player 1 with two options

Specifically, about defining the variables (is this actually defining, or simply calling?). The $ sign is not there in form of the brackets in the picture, it is not clear that the students should edit in the code view directly.
