Hi! I am a dota2 trader and a beginner in the C++ language. I would like to know if someone can help me with C# , making me a SteamBot for Dota 2 trade, i will provide you all the needed info (what's my trade ideea) . I will pay you for the work with some dota 2 keys or items , you set the price.

I am looking forward to replies to this Post! Thankies!

I can teach how to work on your bot but I'm busy doing my own thing so I can only teach you some few works that are generally needed in making a bot. You will just have to configure it by what you want it to be.

moneylover23 commented 10 years ago

but if it's worth getting busy at I can reconsider. please add me on a better chat system on steam /fb / or skype just leave your contact so we can discuss it further.

Those who view this thread, take note: These people, who I call gamerprogrammers, are why projects like this get abandoned and are why Valve is implementing caps and other such obstacles. Want to know why we can't have nice things? People like these two. Go post an ad on some trashy facebook group instead of wasting the time of this project's bug tracker and the people who work on it.

@Lagg : Rolf.... Take an easy man... Everybody starts at the minimum base :( @AlexZaha : You said that you are a beginner in C++. Let me tell you something, all languages have the same logic. Php, javascript, c#, C+ they are all the same.... So practice the one that you are doing, then find a way to convert it to others. I'm also new to c#, but im getting better over time :D . BTW, you said you need a bot for trading, check this out : http://dotatools.com or http://dota2project.tk ( I dont know that i still works or not) -> this program could help you to make your basic dota 2 tradebot

Lagg commented 10 years ago

@vudung45 and you need to stop telling actual contributors to this project to "take it easy". I've seen 3 instances of that so far and it's not helping anything. This is a tracker for issues related to this project, not a help guide. This is plain facts and has nothing to do with being harsh. Continual threads created for such things is going to, if not already, cause people to give up and no longer watch the project. And people like you and these two will be directly responsible. The willful ignorance of how issue trackers work and arrogance required to post a thread anyway is off the charts and is simply unacceptable and harmful to projects attempting to be open.

@Lagg I completely agree. The problem is all the pushy people that keep coming here, asking (mostly) dumb questions with 0 basic knowledge of programming whatsoever, while this is meant to be a bug report/dev tracker, claiming that they actually deserve to be helped just because somebody else has a bot, so why shouldn't they have one as well. This is clugging this project up, causing more and more problems and will eventually lead this project straight into a grave, or Valve will simply get on with it and end it for all of us.

People should understand that while they can, they shouldn't do certain things. That's like going naked into a house that is set on fire with a bucket of water just because somebody wanted to be a fireman. Or bringing a stick into a gunfight... It only confuses people.

Worst of all is the amount of effort that people actually put into research before asking all over.

vudung45 commented 10 years ago

@Lagg: What do you mean by saying people like me.... I'm not a kind of person or shitty coder just wait for help without doing any work...

FrozenHaxor commented 10 years ago

@vudung45 I think you missed his point, this place is not meant to give you personal coding help.

vudung45 commented 10 years ago

@FrozenHaxor: Didn't he read my comment... I was telling that guy to continue learning c+ because it would be easier for him to understand this

AlexZaha commented 10 years ago

Okay guys , thanks and sorry for all the things i've done.

FrozenHaxor commented 10 years ago

@kaizon92 Go away. Stop making a massive spam on the issue tracker. Nobody is going to be your free personal programming "teacher".
