Problem with inventory #570

Bot can not trade with people who have inventory open only to friends. As well bot does not see its own inventory if inventory done private or friends only. This is a bug? How to fix it?

This is not a bug. The bot fetch user's inventory through steam web api which is considered as 3rd party!. The user must set their profile to public to be able to use the bot!

@vudung45 AFAIK, this is not true. You can retrieve private inventory using the "Foreign Inventory" service, if you have a valid trade session token.

@scholtzm I can use it for my own inventory (bot inventory)?

@scholtzm : Yes! Token is used for 3rd party. As long as you have the permission, you will be able to fetch user's inventory
