By Short hyphen you mean uniFE58 (Small Em Dash)?

Oh, I meant soft hyphen. That's uni00AD

For what languages the range in uni1E00 — uni1E95 is responsible? And, if it's ok, can you please paste the actual symbols for the Central Asian languages you mention. I know i can find it, but it will be really helpful to have it all in one issue.

ḓ, ḽ, ṋ, ṅ, ṱ are used in Venda.

Is it adding any alphabet? Why these letters in particular?

According to Wikipedia:

ѝ:

Most regularly ⟨Ѝ⟩ is used in Bulgarian and Macedonian languages to distinguish the short form of the indirect object ⟨ѝ⟩ ('her') from the conjunction ⟨и⟩ ('and', 'also'), or less frequently, to prevent ambiguity in other similar cases. When not available, the character ⟨ѝ⟩ is often replaced by an ordinary ⟨и⟩ (not recommended, but still orthographically correct) or in Bulgarian by the letter ⟨й⟩ (formally this is considered a spelling error).

ѐ:

It is used mainly in Macedonian to prevent ambiguity in certain cases: "И не воведи нѐ во искушение, но избави нѐ од лукавиот" = "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil"

The ѐ character proposed by OP has a different Unicode codepoint from the latin character è (which is used in French). It seems to render very slightly differently in some fonts. The same applies to its uppercase variant.

Compare these two pages on French Wikipedia, which seemingly point to the same page but are actually completely different pages:

Now I know what to do if I want to do some Unicode trolling. :stuck_out_tongue:

You should add Ә and Ө, because other programming fonts feature them.

I know ѝ and ѐ are not really part of the Bulgarian or Macedonian alphabets, but many fonts that support Cyrillic do support them.

I feel that Cyrillic ѝ and ѐ are a bit more important than the other suggestions here.
