I am more comfortable with the non-ligature version of double equals (==) compared to the ligature version. The gaps make it easier to distinguish from a single equal sign.
There's ss19 Stylistic Set to change == != etc. But the not equal symbols are rather very clear so I wish to prevent their ligatures from being removed, which happens for the ss19 stylistic set.
