python 3.7 support - Githubissues

With python 3.7 being around for quite a while now, it would be great if xesmf would support this python version. Currently a conda install xesmf works only for python 3.6.x. Perhaps only the installation files on the conda-forge channel needs to be updated.

Oops, I didn't maintain the Conda channel (https://github.com/conda-forge/xesmf-feedstock). Seems like @ocefpaf is taking care of it (Thanks!).

For now, use

conda install -c conda-forge esmpy
pip install xesmf

I just tried and it worked with python3.7
