Dark theme #1366

What would you like the app to enable you to do? I would like to use a dark interface theme so that my eyes are not so tired in a dark room

I would clarify that I also need the so-called “pure black color theme” / "AMOLED theme" with a background color of #000.

@sbruens, am I correct in understanding that this thread is discussing dark client theme for all platforms the app is currently compiled for?

but the OP mentions link to Apple developer docs so people might assume this issue is specifically for iOS/mac apps only. Please someone with permissions edit the main post to clarify this.
