Abnormal delays #640

Outline server is installed on Scaleway instance, Ubuntu 18.04. The location is tested and perfect in terms of connection and ping. Clients are Mac Os 10.13, an Android 9 smartphone and an iPhone running iOS 12.

Expected result: Client are connected to the server, webpages are loaded fast according to the internet speed and normal latency.

The result I am facing: Clients connect to the server successfully. However, webpages are loaded normally only on Mac computer (which also has Outline manager installed). Both mobile device are either not reaching the internet (showing timeout errors) or loading webpages with 30s-1m delay, making the internet usage nearly impossible.

How do I fix this?

I am willing to provide additional information - just let me know what exactly do you need and how do I get it.

Apparently, there is something wrong with Outline mobile apps, both for iOS and android. I solved my problem and have my VPN connection working perfectly by switching to standard Shadowrocket client on mobile devices. My server is still Outline.

Hi @gragragrab, sorry you're experiencing these issues with the Outline mobile clients. Could you please let us know which versions of the Android and iOS apps were failing to connect?
