I'll update the input file for this example. These variables are actually not used.
The input.txt file has been updated. You can run this example with the new file.
Same issue exists for tingkirby/ test case.
I think Cheng needs update the input files for the new code.

If it would be useful, I have a version of the input files which runs that I could pass on to someone or submit as a pull request, although as I'm not completely familiar with the current version of the code, so may not have setup all of the new parameters correctly.
