7 years ago The metadata dependencies shown are from identified significant properties of some file formats. These are not the application of standards per se, but a consensus of metadata attributes.
This part of the data model is under review from the suppliers in the preservation lot and will change considerably.
The supply of pertinent standards is an information flow from pilots that would be beneficial.
At the moment we only have expanded standards for Audio, Video and Image. We need more. Most commonly deposited (or requested) at Cambridge are: Sequencing data (genomic and transcriptomic data) - they have community standards readily available and could be easily implemented NMR data MRI data Interview data
