What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Staring PV Bean Counter
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: PV Bean Counter to connect to the SMA Inverter, collect the data and
upload to pvoutput.org
Instead: No exported data and thus no upload.

What version of the product are you using (e.g. 1.4.1.9 32bit)?
1.7.0.8

What Operating system (XP, Vista, Windows 7 - 32bit or 64bit)?
Win7x64

Which Database Type (MySQL, MS Access, SQLite - If Access, 32bit or 64bit)?
SQLLite x64 (I think)

Are there any unusual messages in PVService.log? (upload a copy to this
issue if there are)
Yes -
CSV-Export: invalid or missing export directory
CSV-Export: invalid or missing parameter export type
CSV-Export: invalid or missing date specification
CSV-Export: export not started

Please upload your settings.xml file with the issue. This answers many
questions I would otherwise need to ask.
Will do.

Please provide any additional information below.
Am currently running a *.bat file using Windows Task Scheduler, this works
fine, but it means that I have to change the *.bat file every day to change the
date range. Unless I set the date range from today until say next year. Will
try that.

Here is the *.bat file (attached) I am using. I also copy the file to a
seperate folder for backup purposes.

The log states no export folder set, etc. Where do I set this and the other
parameters?

I suspect the problem relates to permissions on D:\Data\SMA\Sunny Explorer\

The "Local Service" account needs full permissions on D:\Data\SMA\Sunny
Explorer\ and it needs at least read access to all other directories in the
path. The Setup / Check environment setting adjusts settings on the Sunny
Explorer directory but it does not try to manipulate permissions on the rest of
the path.

Try checking / setting permission for "Local Service" on D:\ ; D:\Data ;
D:\Data\SMA
and check permissions on D:\Data\SMA\Sunny Explorer\

If you cannot get this to work, try the default configuration C:\PVRecords

The log shows that Bluetooth is working, Bluetooth issues are the most common
problem with Sunny Explorer.

Is this still a problem?

If it is fixed, can you please describe the actions taken?

Your feedback may help others.
