Please provide any additional information below.

Purchased a new Toshiba laptop recently and setup pvbeancounter on it.
All looks in order but pvbeancounter will not turn on bluetooth to communicate
with inverter to get data.
See log file.
Am able to attach to inverter using sunny explorer and PVupload application on
the same laptop without issues but prefer to use pvbeancounter.

Can you explain:

"pvbeancounter will not turn on bluetooth to communicate with inverter"

PVBC cannot "turn bluetooth on". It is usually turned on via the Notebook
wireless switch and some wireless confuguration (Bluetooth enabled). I have
seen some bluetooth installations that will not interact with a service (such
as the PVService.exe program).

If you double click on "C:\PVRecords\SunnyExplorer.sx2", does SunnyExplorer
connect to the Inverter?

I suggest you try changing the account used to run PVBC.

Navigate to

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

Locate the PVService.exe service (PV Bean Counter - Yield Data Capture).

Open Properties for this service

Open the Log On tab

Check "Local System account"

Save the settings and restart the PVBC Service.

I suspect that your computer does not allow account Local Service to access
bluetooth.

If this works, you will need to repeat these steps whenever you reinstall PVBC.

I suspect this did the trick. Will log in later and confirm.
Thanks again.

This can be closed off now. Looks like its working fine now. As mentioned had
to check Local System account.
Thanks again.
