No function at all besides prefence pane

Was an avid first mover and even bought it back then (basically the only piece of software I ever bought). Now years and years later was again pissed of awkward shortcuts for changing tabs and wished back for it. Stumbled over this repo and felt GREAT joy… till I got the preference pane to work again and even draw characters, but to absolutely NO effect. And yes accessibility permissions are still checked for Jitouch. Killing or switching off/on from menu bar doesn't help either.

So no error in pref pane, but also no function (besides drawing to no avail).

Anybody have some thoughts on this?

Hey,

There are a few things you can try:

• try rebooting
• make sure you don't have two copies of Jitouch.prefpane in /Library/PreferencePanes and ~/Library/PreferencePanes
• try removing Jitouch from the Accessibility permissions, quit Jitouch from the menubar, and reopen the Jitouch prefpane
• check if the Jitouch launchagent is working properly (#23)
