Description:
Jitouch works perfectly on my 2015 MacBook Pro with Monterey. However, on my 2019 MacBook Pro running Sonoma, it becomes glitchy. While it functions as expected about 80% of the time, occasionally for example it triggers character gestures when I try to move the page with two fingers.
Observations:
Performance Difference: Works flawlessly on 2015 MacBook Pro with Monterey, but glitchy on 2019 MacBook Pro with Sonoma.
Potential Cause: I suspect the larger trackpad on the 2019 MacBook Pro might be causing issues. When I tried adjusting the distance between my index and ring fingers, it didn’t help and sometimes the distance seemed off.
Troubleshooting Attempts: Restarting Jitouch did not resolve the issue.
Theory:
I believe the larger trackpad may affect how Jitouch calculates finger distance, leading to these glitches.
Question:
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated.
