Hi - I'm checking the operational against a value I found online - which is much less (36 tons vs 13000 tons in your example). Can you explain the difference?

I just realized - I think you are not dividing by 1000 as instructed in the equation - for example, your llm-carbon-operational-result should be 13,852.26, not 1,3852,268.95.

You can check that answer against the research paper's own published results for Llama 7B and see that this is correct (13,852 kg CO2e = ~14 Tons CO2e)
