Yea I was toying with that a few days ago, but I had a busy weekend. It's almost functional.
Currently I'm using iOS's 10-minute allotted time after the app goes to sleep to carry out the background process.
Great news! Keep the screen turned on is pretty uncomfortable
What about working app in the background? Just like Skype? Of course, this is bad for battery, but since we haven't push-notifications it's better than nothing. And we always can make it optional
