To open up the help window, LumiNUS, Canvas etc. the commands given are specific to windows only, does not cater to other OSes like MacOS that requires fn

Thank you for your bug report.

We chose not to include this in our documentation as different MacOS user may have the following settings enabled or disabled. If the setting is disabled, pressing the function keys will result in the special features, provided by MacOS.

In either case, we find that F1, F2, F3 are understood to refer to the function keys.

Reason for disagreement: Then it should still have been provided as an explanation, given that your app is targeting ALL NUS students, not just computing students, that may know the difference. Not only that, but on linux the functional keys may not work as intended without some tinkering. Given the team's decision to use functional keys, the corresponding explanation should have been clear.
