Thunderbolt Console not working. Interface buttons and text do not display. #21

What version are you using?
- ActionScript 3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the Thunderbolt Console AIR app
2. The app opens, but the app window is practically blank so not sure what to
do from here.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting to see buttons, and the prompt to drag my flashlog.txt file. But i
see nothing but the icon and Thunderbolt AS3 Console title in the upper portion
of the app window. Then nothing but white in the middle, then a black bar at
the bottom with a grey button that has no text on it (the change button?).
However if i resize the app window, the tabs (all, debug, info, warn, error) at
the top appear but with no text labels. The stop, clear, and options buttons do
not appear at all. A horizontal scrollbar also appears at the bottom of the
white area. The buttons do not appear to be responsive. Nothing at all happens.
Even tho there is text in my flashlog.txt file.

What browser are you using? On what operating system? How did you compile the
sources?
Mac OS X 10.6.7 (Snow Leopard), Macbook Pro. No browser. Using this for AIR
apps. I'm using the Thunderbolt Console app downloaded from the internet. Did
not compile it from the source. I pasted some debug log output from your demo
app into my flashlog.txt file to give it something to read. No joy.

Please provide any additional information below.
I've attached a couple screen shots showing what the console looks like when i
open it... Hope that helps!

Which version of ThunderBolt AS3 Console are you using? The latest version is
2.2.2.

Note: Because you don't see the option button to check the version, you can't
see the version number within the AIR app. However, you can check the version
number using Finder: Go to installation folder of ThunderBoltAS3Console and
select ThunderBoltAS3Console.app You will see the version number within the
preview window of Finder.

Not sure if you got my email reply before, so posting here. I'm using
Thunderbolt console v 2.2.2. Interesting thing tho, my AIR runtime recently
auto updated to the newest version (not sure how to tell which version it's at
now) and when i run thunderbolt now things are still not right but a little bit
different. The debug, info etc buttons now change color on rollover, but
there's still no labels on any of them and i can't tell if they're doing
anything. The options, stop and clear buttons are visible now (with no
labels), but if i hit the options button, those 3 buttons disappear and the
other buttons (debug, info, etc) stop responding to rollovers. If i restart the
app and press the stop button then the Error or All button i do see text from
the log file in the text area. And i get the "===== log data is cleared ====="
message if pressing the clear button.

Screenshots are included.
Image 2 is what i see when starting up now.
Image 3 is what happens after i hit the "options" button.
Image 4 happens after i hit the change button.
Image 5 happens after dragging flashtxt.log onto the app in response to the
above mentioned change.
Image 6 happened after restarting and pressing the Stop button then the All
button. Looks promising...

Hope this is somewhat helpful. Let me know other info would be useful.

Problem solved! Turns out it's a whacky font issue caused when upgrading to
Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.7), which i had done shortly before trying Thunderbolt.
Other apps were affected too. The solution that worked was to delete all the
fonts in my default user directory. Weird...

Thanks for the cool app!

Thanks again for your detailed feedback.

Have you tried to re-install the ThunderBolt AS3 Console? Unfortunately I can't
reproduce your issues. The Console runs on my machine (OSX 10.6.8, AIR 2.7)
like a charm.

P.S. To determine the version of your installed AIR Runtime check this:
