2 years ago Decided to audit my config, composer, etc, was running RC1.5 and was just about to pull the trigger on upgrading to 1.6. Rather than chases a bunch of trashy built-up junk, I loaded 1.6 into a sandbox and this issue seems moot so I am proceeding with a full upgrade to 1.6 and dealing with whatever comes along with that. There are other issues with a clean install, in particular SQL complains about a null color on adding the first CALDAV source making the add useless but acting like it is halfway there, but whatever, do it again and it works. When I have time I'll try to ferret out that bug. Also, there is an issue where the SQL init scripts do not take into account tables that are there but do not have the correct schemas. Had to update them by hand. I'll file an issue for that separately...
Closing this issue in the interim.
Debian: Installed with the manual composer git pull script instructions. Let me know what I need to patch...
