Can confirm the same issue. No sticks, stones or other items that randomly spawn on the ground would appear in my playthroughs until I disabled this mod.
During launch, there was an exception thrown, but whether its GearToolbox causing problems something else, can't really tell at the moment. See the attached log. Longer sessions also resulted in a spam of
During invoking native->managed trampoline
in the logs which resulted in logs almost 0.5GB in size. This also subsided after the removal of this mod.
As the log says, I'm currently running on ML v0.64-beta, so that could definitely be related. Modsite says 0.61 was verified as working, so I'll try that next and report the results. God help us all if its a MelonLoader bug...All the dependencies were the newest available at time of testing.
To not just be negative, praise to the dev for properly setting up logging tags [] for the mod.
🤦 Just noticed modComponent is completely missing from the enabled mods. Added it (but also downgraded to ML 0.61) and now sticks work. @CInderss I recommend double checking that you have ModComponent installed. If that doesn't fix it, try switching to ML 0.61 to see if that resolves the issue.

It looks like all the problems with some mods are really with ML, I rolled back the same to 0.61 and the mods worked as it should.

It seems that the ML structure has been changed and some mods for new items need to be changed, or a mistake has been made in new versions due to which some things simply do not work correctly.
There has already been a similar non-closed topic, when installing any item that appears or has been added and should appear stops spawning on the ground.
