This issue is a reminder to discuss the differences between implementations and discuss the possibility of how animation would even work in either scenario.

Okay, me thinks TUI we print to the terminal and let the person deal with it as is. If they want to format it further, that's their prerogative. So, the main difference between API and TUI would be color, we wouldn't be able to support color as plaintext in API.

honestly I love TUIs and would just look a lot cleaner than APIs :]
