site download version out of sync with git tag release ? #23

Seems http://download.joedog.org/siege/siege-latest.tar.gz is 3.1.0 while latest on git is 3.1.1 https://github.com/JoeDog/siege/releases ? out of sync ?

Also any change of the git releases following a more common version naming format so insteald of 3-1-1 use 3.1.1 ?

George,

The repository has a few superficial changes so I labeled it 3.1.1 in preparation for release. In the end, I decided not to bother releasing it because they were superficial. At some point I'll roll back the tag and re-apply it.

I'm not sure what you mean WRT to naming formats.

when i mean formats 3.1.1 vs 3-1-1

siege-3.1.1.tar.gz

vs

RELEASE_3-1-1_JUL_09_2015.tar.gz

just script automation i have has the site non-github downloads to date with version 3.1.1 format
