Can this version of the driver be used in conjunction with the x360ce so that
the end result is a wireless xiput 360 controller w/ working chatpad?

Regarding XInput: I'm not sure, I've attempted to get x360ce to work in a
couple of games but it didn't work. To be honest though, I didn't try too hard
as most games I play will allow me to remap buttons as necessary. In theory the
combination of this application and x360ce should work, but your mileage may
vary.

Regarding Rumble: As mentioned on the main page, this is difficult to
accomplish. While I know the commands to send the controller to drive the
motors, because this application doesn't "hook" into any game's executable,
there is no way to get the signal from a game to know how much motor to drive.
I understand that x360ce does hook into the games exe, and if it supports
rumble then it knows the necessary information, but it doesn't supply it...it's
expecting a controller in windows to support rumble. At the end of the day, it
would have to be a coordinated effort between the developer of x360ce and my
own application to accomplish this; something I'm willing to do but not
confident it would happen. If you REALLY want rumble, feel free to contact the
x360ce project owner about outputting any rumble signals...or, have him contact
me to maybe make a single application for this.
