Joe S., "it works", but only very lightly tested. I must confess that I am hanging on by my cognitive fingernails at the moment, and this task was at the limits of my current abilities. More "theory of operation" comments in your code would be helpful, as would a code walkthrough at some point. But, I think I've "cracked the code" on Git 101, and I have a sweet little workflow going with VS Code. I've never been too keen on it (way too "busy" for my taste...) but in this case, having the split view to compare the "H" and "V" methods worked great. Thanks to the guys who did the MS formatter!
