I set the resolution to 6. When I enter the note on row 000, 003, 006 etc it enters correctly. When I enter on a row that is not a multiple of three it either enters the note on the row above, or enters an OFF command and enters the note one row above in the column to the left.
Thank you for creating this tool, it's my favorite way to enter midi notes now. If this issue can be fixed it would make the tracker perfect for my uses.
Update- User Error!
I figured out what went wrong. I misread your page and thought I had to set new midi items to 256 pulses, rather than multiples of 256. Everything is working well now. Thank you!
