It should still be there. CTRL + SHIFT + click the row index. This setting gets stored in the pattern data, so you may have to do it for patterns that were already set to something else.
It may also be worth checking your config file to see if rowOverride
is set, because that sets it to something else.
If it doesn't work for some reason, please attach your config file and I can investigate.
Any luck?
Oh yeah sure it worked! But i think some info (if F1 is pressed) would help because i can't think of a way to figure this out unless by accident (or asking) n-n;
On the other side, it always highlights 1 in 4 beats as 'strong', so it's good for 4/4, 2/4 or 6/8 tunes, but not so much for say 3/4 or 5/4 :P
It´s there in the F1 menu though. Maybe the description is not clear enough. How would you describe it in that limited space (around 31 characters)?
And yeah. What options would you need?
I remember that in an older version, a selection of themes (IT and buzz i think) had a lighter/weaker row higlight for beats and a stronger/darker one for start of a bar, but in newer versions this feature got removed(/or stopped working?) and every beat has the same highlight.
It would be so cool if this could get restored as it makes reading timing of music so much more intuitive ðŸ˜
