mux has a lot of convenience functions/methods that do similar things: create 
and add a Route to DefaultRouter or Router, or set a property in a Route.

The documentation could make a summary of these functions/methods explaining 
the subtle differences/similarities, and list the methods that are particular 
to Route/Router.

Duplicated methods were removed on revision cf9eb27c3ffe and revision 
9647c2afd0ff, so this issue is now invalid.
