256 sounds max allowed and it's almost there already.
As suggested by Caesum, sound infos could be split into separate .XML catalogs so it's easier to find them (and better for organization).
For example, using the original 1999 sounds.txt file as a base, and separate .XML for each new sound (maybe one per object slot?)
