Milestone Objectives

Goals I wish to complete by milestone end:

• Rust-based program that

  • Has a modern GUI
  • Can invoke packet captures
  • Normalize the packet data
  • Analyze the data
  • Tranform into a baseline

• Machine Learning Algorithm that

  • Can predict future traffic (volumes and specific sources)
  • Can ultimately predict/detect abnormal behavior

I also have some strech features that include:

• Alerting on abnormal behavior
• Robust analysis feature that can utilize the context of the data collected
