EvenMoreModifiers name length issue #31

I am using this mod with a few others and i got a weapon from one of the other mods that comes with a fairly large name. After the additional modifiers were added, any time i mouse over it in my inventory my game crashes. After speaking with the other mod author it sounds like this is an issue with the max length of names in Terraria. Is there any way to modify this or remove the modifiers from this one weapon so as i can get it out of my inventory or am i stuck making a new character?

Do you get any error on screen when this happens? Can you show what ends up in your log files?
