I am open to making a new prestige class for the Isekai Protagonist. Post your ideas here and dicuss.

Was thinking about this for two days but it's quite difficult since IP can already cast any spells and have access to nearly every class features.

If the point is to have an extended progression, mainly for Legend, I guess that a streamlined special power/OP abilities would be enough with some goodies.

If aiming 10 lvl :

If too powerful perhaps one of the 2 OP could be restricted to metamagic.

An idea would be to use prestige classes as a branching path/evolutions Start with a shifter base class that can at level 5 / 10 or so choose a monster to turn into (Dragon, Hyrdra, Slime, etc) Might be a more interesting way to use some of the legacies Using it for past level 20 would work too, trouble is that the capstones are already so strong it wouldn't really feel like a progression at that point (I mean auto killing on hits and being immune to damage is a bit excessive IMO if those got moved to level 30 it might work tho)

Isekai Veteran: Background of the class: It's not the first time you get isekai'd Gets additional OP ability, You get to choose a simplified version(so it fits 10 level cap) of an Isekai Protagonist Archetypes (similarly to how you pick legacies). Cannot double the same archetype. This allows you to somewhat multiclass into Isekai protagonist as an Isekai protagonist.

How about a prestige class for companions that give them some benefits of the main class, but they themselves aren't Isekai Protagonists. Basically keeps improving the class they already have while giving them some benefits from the Isekai Protagonist class because they are learning things from the protagonist.

+1, goodness gracious would that be a great way to play favorites. Who gets the Isekai Companion prestige class? Could even make the class's abilities just glaringly obvious statements of preference, though now I'm just thinking about some kind of teamwork feat-esque structure with special powers, and nobody's asking for that. Probably.

I was thinking something like the mortal usher prestige class in tabletop where you select a class and gain benefits of an increased level in that class every other level with the benefits of the prestige class. Only this would be every level and would replace the legacy feature of the base class. Otherwise the only other additions should be attack, save, hp, and skill progression from isekai protagonist base class with the occasional special power and signature strike as a capstone. No overpowered abilities, as that might be overkill. Also a prerequisite that the character not have a level in isekai protagonist to prevent any attempt at stacking them.Sincerely,Noah R GastonOn Aug 1, 2023, at 1:13 PM, bundillion @.***> wrote:
