Code cleanup and dependency update #115

Should fix https://github.com/JohNan/homeassistant-wellbeing/issues/114 and https://github.com/JohNan/homeassistant-wellbeing/issues/104

The dependency in the api lib is now compatible with older versions of Home Assistant
