iKeyboard will not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I use the English keyboard
2. I am trying to use 5- key keyboard and emoti keyboard
3. When I go to UAE keyboard in any app it does not work. I only get the
     standard keyboard.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I only getthe regular keyboard with no option to switch.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
(iPhone/iPod Touch? Firmware version?)?
I am using a 1st generation Iphone running 3.0 unlocked. How do I get it to 
work? I just 
downloaded emoti but the 5-key keyboard used to work before I upgraded to 3.0.

Please provide any additional information below.
