A new Module Manager interface should be added which allows modules to be 
installed directly from SWORD repositories.

This is a very good idea.

It's fine that you can drag & drop .xsm files for installing those from IBT.

Yet the ability to access modules from other SWORD repositories that do not use 
the same file extension would be a real benefit, especially if the user had not 
installed any other SWORD front-end application.
