File menu blocking

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Playing around with dialog boxes: Opening several ones and try to find out 
how to close them (Esc or Alt+4) 
2. menu: File is not working correctly any more:
3. menu: File/Add modules does not open a dialog to choose a module
4. menu: File/Remove modules is greyed out (see screenshot)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
xs 3.4/Linux/Firefox

I did not duplicate this on 3.5+ so maybe it's fixed already?
