Bible book changes: Chapters and Verses?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
There are different methods to change Bible books: Navigating to ESV Gen 11:2 
by a cross reference (in ESV) and starting von Gen 11:2:
1. with the reference bar/Book box/down arrow: choosing Exo gives Exo 11:2
2. with the Bible navigator: choosing OT/Exo gives Exo 1:1
3. with with the reference bar/Book box/deleting Genesis and typing 
Exodus/Enter gives Exo 1:1.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
? -> Is this done by purpose to have different ways to change a Bible book and 
- keeping chapter/verse or
- navigating to the first chapter/verse of a book?
or would it be better to have the same system (I suggest the first 
chapter/verse of a book.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
xs 3.4 Linux/Firefox

By the way, Previous/Next always navigates to the first verse of the chapter.

#1 now takes you to chapter 1 verse 1 as well in 3.6+.
