History using interpreter #74

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The very first Crunchy (based on CherryPy) had a built-in history for the
interpreter where a user could recall a previously typed command by using
arrow keys. We removed this as our initial discussions centred on having
Crunchy used by beginners - and it was thought that this feature was
overkill. However, given the level of sophistication of Crunchy, it might
make sense to have this re-implemented.

I am marking this as Beyond1.0 because it isn't something that needs
fixing, or because it is a feature that won't be ready in time.

This could perhaps be easily done with using a javascript library as suggested
in
issue 122.
