Thanks for reaching out @stunzi

Can you clarify a few questions for me so I can have a look, since I don't have that setup:

If you indeed use both simultaneously

Thanks I'll wait for your feedback to have a look.

Tested Beta 6 and external Apple Cinema Display does not dim.

Tried Mirroring and both Laptop and External as primary.

Only thing I can think of is the Apple Thunderbolt to USB-C adapter.

Happy to run any sysdiagnostics or reports to help explore this further.

Can you clarify a few questions for me so I can have a look, since I don't have that setup:

  • Are you using both display (internal and external) simultaneously ?

  • Is your internal MBP monitor set as primary ?

  • When you use the dim keys, does it dim both screens simultaneously, or just the one that has the mouse/focus ?

If you indeed use both simultaneously

  • can you check if setting your external monitor as primary makes Aerial dim it ? (I'd expect in this case, the internal doesn't dim)

Thanks I'll wait for your feedback to have a look.

@stunzi there's nothing in beta6 yet about this, I was waiting on your answers. Can you answer my questions please :

It dims the primary display with the dock. In this case the external monitor. If I hold a modifier (func or opt I forget) it dims the secondary display.
