Is it possible to use timeline in combination with Sankey charts? #275

Some experiments affirmed that it isn't possible to use timelines in combination with Sankey charts. Just in case I am mistaking I put it here as a question.

Is it possible to use this timelines in combination with Sankey charts? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction of how to do it?

I don't think it's available for sankey charts, just yesterday

I'll keep an eye out for any changes that echarts.js might push

Not a solution to the problem in echarts4r I guess, but take a look at this very interesting approach of @helgasoft Timeline with Sankey

Additional remark: since Helgasoft uses version 5, I guess in theory it could be made possible in echarts4r? But maybe it's hard to implement in this particular chart type.
