I've had this same issue for a long time. I thought when I first signed up for
the PBXes account it rang in the full 25 seconds but now it only rings about 2
times on my Droid X and about 2 times on my land line gateway device.
Since its happening on my land line gateway device I think the issue is with
PBXes and not sipdroid. Since I'm only using the free account I cannot post in
the PBXes forum for a simple question as why this is happening. >:( If I want
to use my land line I have to pick up with in two rings and that is a pain.

I should also say that when I call the PBXes extension from my phone to the
land line gateway extension it rings and rings until I pick up.

I have this issue when using a gtrunk number with Sprint integration. When I
switch to a gtrunk number without Sprint integration I get 5 rings on the SIP
extension.

Care to explain more on the sprint integration?

By Sprint integration I am referring to enabling Google voice on a Sprint phone
and Google voice using the Sprint number. This integration may not be
available on the other mobile carriers right now.
I did some more testing. It turns out that when I call a GV number trunked to
PBXes from a Sprint phone that is using it's number with GV enabled I get 4 or
5 rings. If I call from any other phone I only get 1.5 rings. So this doesn't
solve the problem. But it does provide some more details.

I tried removing my cell number from google voice settings but I still only got
2.5 rings from sipdroid/land line.

The following is my speculation. I am no expert of this stuff.
A successfully answered call via gtalk:
incoming call -> Google server rings gtalk trunk -> PBXes answers -> User picks
up in 15 seconds -> PBXes sends DTMF "1" to Google server -> Google server
receives DTMF "1" and connects the call
A call via gtalk failed to answer within 15 seconds:
incoming call -> Google server rings gtalk trunk -> PBXes answers -> User does
not pick up the call in 15 seconds -> Google server does not received DTMF "1"
in 15 seconds for the ANSWERED call -> Google server hangs up the gtalk trunk

So, isn't it possible to ring the user but not to "answer" the gtalk trunk
first?
