Model incompatibility

Hi, I'm using a SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 (AT&T Samsung Captivate)
running unrooted on firmware 2.2 kernal 2.6.32.9 (FROYO.UCKB2)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Attempt to install from market claims incompatibility

What is the expected output? "installing" 
What do you see instead?"not compatible with your device"

What version of the product are you using?
"Attempting current release on Android marketplace" 

On what device/operating system? "Refer to the opening statement"

Which SIP server are you using? "N/A" 
What happens with PBXes? "N/A"

Which type of network are you using?"N/A"

Please provide any additional information below.
Of course I am blocked from non market, but attempted to install 2.4.

Having read issue 978. I guess I have my answer. Any idea when you will release 
samsung from your black list? I'm going to have at&t ushering me down a dark 
road real soon (o.0)
