5 years ago @RickMason1 - What part of the install is failing?
My goal today is to move the configuration files out of the source controlled directories and into the user home.
This would then cause all user config changes to be out of the source directories and prevent conflicts when updating.

5 years ago @RickMason1 - I just released image files. All you need to do is flash an 8GB microsd card:

I downloaded your latest image and burned to a 32gig chip. When I run it I get the big red x. Stratux seems to be missing. What do you think I could be missing? I've tried your image several times, and loaded stratux separately. But getting the two on the same chip just won't come together.

5 years ago This is a “standalone” image, so the Stratux code itself is not on it, and it requires a separate receiver.
Barring that, if you changed your networks name, then you will need to do some config.

5 years ago Thanx John, I'll keep at it. I demonstrated the Hud at the glider port. Lots of ooohs & aaahs, but only one person said he wanted to build one. I'll send him a list of parts to order and a copy of stratux and your latest image as soon as I get it stable again.
Have you tried the Hudly 2nd generation? I see it has an HDMI port on it.
Also, I was able to run lxterminal on your latest image. Will that be a keeper. With that I foresee that we could X or vnc into the system with windows and use the XBOX screen copier to make a presentation video.

John, I can't find an easy path to upgrade the Hud. I saw that you put up a Help Wanted tag, and I think I could help, if I could just figure out how to do a fresh install. Even that's not working for me.
