Graphical Glitch on Computers with Foreign Locale set #1

When opening the file on a computer set to japanese locale, the program displays sosme extra characters like [32;1m (The occurence of \ as the currency symbol is expected on this locale, but the other characters shown in the boxes are not)

Team chose [response.NotInScope]

Reason for disagreement: Upon reviewing the source code after the PE, I conclude that this bug was caused by the custom color codes deliberately inserted into the terminal messages not being recognized under certain terminal configurations and it is not a locale bug. It is instead a flawed assumption with how the terminal will render the chosen text and hence should be considered a bug.
