Character Reset Investigation

When characters die to monsters, they are currently reset to level 5. At higher levels, this is a harsh consequence and may result in viewers losing interest in the minigame. However, the consequences should still be severe to keep the high risk/high reward value of fighting monsters as well as slowing the progress due to official monsters ending beyond level 50. This should be investigated to see if the current implementation is suitable and appropriate changes planned with a new ticket if any are made.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Investigate different potential consequences of characters dying to monsters
• Devise new consequence of player death if suitable
• Raise a new ticket with new details if appropriate

This has been considered and it has led to the decision that characters will lose a portion of their XP upon their death. The amount of XP lost will depend on the character level. This has resulted in #223, moving this ticket to the complete column.
