Remember search triggers will only see and try to collect new HITs so if there are older HITs then it may not start collecting it. Be sure to check if there are any HITs duplicated on the panda page and search page. That can get the extension a bit confused. I will do more testing to see if I can figure out what else could be happening.
If you don't want a panda job to be collected anymore than just click and hold the collect button until it says disabled. This will make sure that HIT will never be collected even if a search trigger finds it. Click and hold the disabled button to go back to normal enabled mode. I have used that many times.
I understand that it collects only new hits, but the issue would be where everything is turned on, but nothing is running. Let me see if I can explain it better....
Let's say I have SEARCH sending over to MAX. They are both ON, not paused. Auto Allow is turned on, Search now is on. Now, typically, this would send it to MAX and it would either turn off or start the MAX part to collect. But it isn't. The COLLECT button(s) are ON, but there is no movement to collect. The "elapsed" on MAX doesn't move (it should be but it isn't moving - like it is paused, but the pause button is not on).
Also, thank you for the information about the click and hold to disable. I did not know that so I appreciate it.
Not sure if you would want me to start a new issue, but I did also notice that on the SEARCH side, there are no sounds, the whole area for sounds seems to be disabled. Nothing is clickable or playable and no sound plays until it gets into MAX side.
There are many issues I am having with search/max.
Having a search send over to max works most of the time, but sometimes it just randomly stops sending it. A lot of times though, it will send it over and immediately turn it off, no matter what the settings are. It doesn't even try to search on it more than 1 time.
Now, I am having the issue where my max side is ON, search side is ON and Allow Auto is ON and it moves it to Max but it doesn't do anything else. It doesn't trigger it to search, but the green collect is on. It just sits like it is turned off and shouldn't be collected.
Also, there should be a way to stop collecting on anything we have previously collected unless we state otherwise. For example, I had to return a bunch of hits today because I have previously completed them (within the last 24 hours).
I know there is a better explanation for this, but I am not really sure how to explain it.
