How to reproduce: Line up your crosshair/middle of the screen with the top corner of a slope, then simply move forward. You will notice that for some reason the play seems to get pushed along the slope rather than climb up it as if it was a flat surface, so your crosshair/middle of the screen will end up more to the side of the slope. In most games, X and Z should not change when climbing slopes.
Suggested fix: I have no idea, I looked at this template because I myself was also desperate for a solution but all 3d kinematic examples seem to have a similar problem.
