iNEXT to handle spatial and temporal replications in agricultural settings? #35

Hello dedicated authors

I am trying to apply iNEXT to analyze my wild plants communities composition in agricultural settings. My experiment is a long-term, large-scale one so I have repeated measurements over years in replications. I therefore would request iNEXT to work on a three-dimensional matrix (or an array if that's the correct term) that is species x sampled area x year. Currently I am making matrices of species x year in which within year replication numbers are tallied, or species x rep_year but I feel that having temporal and spatial replications could be interesting. In other words, I am proposing to have argument x for function iNEXT receiving an array in addition to the currently accepted formats.

I am considering years and replications random effects because we don't know what the weather is like in a particular year and treatments are assigned randomly. However, a long-term, repeated measurement could have the within year replication as a fixed effect in a sense that a particular physical piece of land is receiving one treatment over a few years.

I am not majored in statistics so please excuse my word choice. Thank you for the package.
