9 months ago VSCode hangs up until the SVN refresh icon disappears, and it is refreshing on anything, like searching through files and etc... very annoying. Loads the CPU like a crypto miner. Is not changing anything if:
"svn.autorefresh": false,Only, helps:

Save a c# file
Vscode will freeze with a notification that says the file is saving. Will unfreeze if you cancel the save operation, but the file is still saved.
