Colony Hackathon Submission

Project Title

Translator Collective

Project Description

Decentralization carries with it the promise of a truly globalized and horizontal economy, but this is only possible if more of the general population is involved in the creation and distribution of value online.

For this reason, it is essential, in my view, that (d)Apps be completely multilingual.

The purpose of this new colony will be the creation and development of a translator's collective, with the objective of providing language services to other projects. Such an organization will be able to accept work with a payment in ETH/ERC20 tokens, while using Colony's basic functionalities of domain (for different target languages), skills (for specific language pairs), and the payment flow of manager (sales representative) -> worker -> evaluator, whereby the evaluator is a editor/proofreader, ensuring the quality of the worker's (translator) work.

Excellent idea! Although for right now the colony contracts only implement a single level of domains, in the future you could use sub-domains to structure increasing levels of specialization within languages and dialects...

That's precisely why I was asking about the sub-domains in Gitter :-)

I am currently thinking probably a subdivision in domains by target language would make the most sense.

Will probably get back to you again as I further pan out possible scenarios

Thanks for the encouragement :-)
