Hey @lilitie This is a great idea. I think there's also some room for collaboration here, tagging @zillerium who posted a similar idea. Perhaps you two would like to coordinate?
Hi! Myself and a couple other people are looking to learn more about blockchain development, is there anyone that would be interested in teaching us, or mentoring us in a blockchain project? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
Hi Darcy, There are plenty of free online courses you can find relating to Ethereum and Solidity.
Here is a good one that can be found on TorrentProject, or you can buy it at Udemy for around $10. Ethereum and Solidity: The Complete Developer's Guide
Blockgeeks has good ones too, of course, because they are a sponsor of this hackathon.
@darcysimmons Also, if you signed up for the hackathon, you'll get a code that works for 3 free months of content at https://courses.blockgeeks.com/hackathon/
But also, if you have any general questions, feel free to ping me in the Gitter chat and I'll do my best to answer them or point you in the right direction of some resources: https://gitter.im/ColonyHackathon/Lobby
@IdeaOutline's Udemy recommendation is what I used to learn! Amazing course.
Zastrin is also a good starting point as well and has a few sample courses for free.
@lilitie what about Wikipedia?
Hi @lilitie I think this is a great idea. If you want someone to chat about it with, get in touch with me!
@ninjasun Wiki kind of collaborative work, but maybe boosted by reputation and a way to earn tokens, I suppose...
@wildmolasses I'd love to... it was just a fancy idea of a free school that... me and a friend of mine had to promote gender equality (on STEM subjects), but not at all restricted to it.
